Success Stories
I worked very hard in college and finished with a 3.8 GPA.
However, my MCAT score was only a 492. Dr. Messo thoroughly reviewed my application, personal statemnet, and assisted me in having my application stand out.
I was pleasantly surprised when I was accepted to a medical school in Manhattan!

I was eager to get started on my dream to be a physician. Unfortunately, my GPA and MCAT score was not enough to get me into an American Medical School. Dr. Messo reviewed all my options with me which included re-applying, taking a master's program and then re-applying, or attending an off-shore school. It was clear for me the best option was the off-shore option. Dr. Messo was quite familiar with each of the schools and requirements and I am happy to say, I was accepted on my first attempt.

How disappointed was I when I never even received an interview! I had applied to enough schools (20) and I had the GPA and MCAT requirements. However, I did not have any significant extra-curricular experiences on my application. All my options were discussed, and I decided to matriculate into a Master's program in Interdisciplinary Medicine (similar to what is experienced in the first year of medical school). The program I attended was 1 year, and if I maintained a GPA of 3.5, I was automatically accepted the following year in the medical school. I am now in my 4th year of med school and I am so thankful for the advice Dr. Messo gave me!
